The impetus for Law
was inculcated in Rizvi family in the 1800s when
during the British Raj Mr Taffazul Hussain Rizvi Esquire opened his Law Chambers in the Indian
State of Patiala. In the same Offices, his son Mr
Jamil Hussain Rizvi initiated his law practice.
After partition of the Sub-Continent in 1947, Mr
Jamil Hussain Rizvi migrated to Pakistan and
re-established his Law Chambers in Lahore; he later
served as the Minister for Law and Rehabilitation
West Pakistan, Advocate General West Pakistan and
Judge, West Pakistan High Court.
