We are actively engaged in drafting and vetting the laws and bye-laws for both Federal and Provincial governments and different authorities. Such legislations vary from the fields of commercial to agriculture marketing laws.

We have vast experience in handling commercial litigation with special emphasis on protection of shareholders' rights, challenging legislation regarding imposition of taxes and winding up of companies. The other important avenues are debt recovery, professional negligence, defamation, corporate, employment and banking disputes.

We are regularly engaged in drafting agreements and advising on the execution of transactions in a manner to avoid disputes whilst advancing objectives, negotiating settlements, advising and conducting international and multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration.

We handle intellectual property and related matters including registration and advice in relation to trademarks, copyright protection and patents, matters arising in connection with media, communication and entertainment fields, pharmaceuticals, licensing and franchising agreements and data protection advice.

In addition to handling contentious and non-contentious matters relating to copyrights and trademarks we also handled registration of first ever Geographical Indication of Pakistan known as BASMATI as collective mark including drafting of Regulations under the Intellectual Property Laws of Pakistan. The said GI application and regulations were opposed by several domestic and international opponents and were successfully defended at every stage by the Law Firm. The legacy was followed and presently several applications pertaining to GIs are pending before the Registry.

We handle incorporation of companies, reconstructions, corporate financing, management, joint ventures and partnerships and advise on employment, work permit matters.

We also deal extensively with the resolution of companies and commercial disputes including shareholders' rights, director's duties and related matters. We have the unique expertise of forming a company limited by guarantee having a share capital in Pakistan, wherein the entire share capital has been provided by public exchequer but the company is being managed by private sector. The federal and provincial governments followed the trail and subsequently several companies of similar nomenclature were incorporated for specific areas.

We have vast experience in negotiating, drafting and advising commercial contracts whether they be joint ventures, standard form sale terms, specific sale-purchase contracts, service contracts, shareholders’ agreements etc.
